Embarking on a fitness journey is often a personal and transformative experience. For Tori, a group fitness instructor and influencer, fitness became a way for her to make a positive impact on others. In this blog post, we talk about Tori’s fitness career and journey.

Tori began her fitness journey at the age of 21 at a time where she was unfulfilled in her current job and uncertain about her purpose. At first she had minimal knowledge about working out, but she quickly became successful in her fitness career. “With only knowing how to do crunches, use the bicep curl machine and treadmill, I stayed consistent and over time learned how to train and shape different muscle groups which led me into bodybuilding,” she began. “From there I competed in 5 NPC shows over the course of 4 years and that really propelled my fitness career. I gained a popular social media clothing sponsorship and was personal training up to 10 clients a day, which was truly incredible. Helping others…now that was my purpose. Present day, I have the honor of getting in front of up to 60 people, 3 times a day and teaching them how to workout and become the best version of themselves both mentally and physically, that they can be, one rep at a time.”

Tori is a group fitness instructor at The12 Health Club. When asked what her favorite class to teach is, she chose HIIT Fridays. “Each class is so important in its own way, but if I HAD to choose I’d say HIIT Friday’s! You can’t beat the energy and good vibes that it brings,” she shared. “Everyone’s pushing harder than they normally do and I’m in awe of the intensity, drive and focus that’s in that room. Endorphins are through the roof with a big smile on their face as they leave. That’s all I can ask for.”

Tori is also an online coach and fitness influencer. When asked what the most rewarding part of her jobs are, she responded, “Hands down having the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s life. And overall being a safe space for them to share, ask questions and have enough trust in me to help them in and out of the gym.”

Lastly, we asked Tori what advice she has for someone who wants to start their fitness journey, but feels intimidated or unsure about joining a fitness class. She took inspiration from The Power of One More by Ed Mylett. “The best advice I can give is three words…one more try,” Tori advised. “It may take a few or several trials with studios to find the right one for you! It’s all about community and the energy you feel when you walk through that front door. If you’re not greeted with a welcoming, genuine smile and hello…on to the next! Once you find your home, it’ll change your life.”

Tori’s fitness story is one we are proud to share because of her passion and dedication towards her journey and career. We also greatly appreciate Tori’s presence in Team BodyKore and at our photoshoots. Her positive impact on others is a value we appreciate and admire, and we hope her story has inspired you.
