CrossCore's Brendan Cosso demonstrates how to train the ground and pound on the War Machine Rotational Trainer. The video starts off with Brendan in full mount position over the wrestling dummy punching down towards the dummy while holding the handles of the War Machine. As you can notice, Brendan's body is suspended over the punching dummy. This forces him to tighten his core while he's going through the motions. In a MMA fight, your opponents will likely be trying to push you off so the suspended training resembles the force of the opponent. Brendan then explains what muscles are used during the ground and pound and then shows how to incorporate the CrossCore War Machine into the exercise.
