  • 2013 Mr. Olympia Weekend Post Coverage

BodyKore was at the 2013 Mr. Olympia Weekend to check out the competition and partake in the Olympian festivities that lasted from Sept 26th- Sept 29th.

For the third consecutive year, Phil Heath is your Mr. Olympia champion.

Thanks to a perfect blend of mass, definition and muscularity, the 5'9" 33-year-old once again stood out against the competition.  Even without those former champions in the field, the competition would have been tough. It was Kai Greene and Dennis Wolf who joined Heath in the final three of the prejudging round. However, Heath's density, symmetry and tone were simply superior as he showed that he's clearly still the world's best body builder.  Jay Cutler placed a respectable sixth place.  Heath wasn't the only competitor to earn an incredible third title. Nicole Wilkins captured her third career Figure title in a competitive class.   The 212 competition bore an interesting resemblance to the open weight Mr. Olympia class. Flex Lewis repeated as champion in a field that featured three former winners. Lewis relied on his impressive striations and definition to a win over a deep field.  With the largest payout in Mr. Olympia history and an ever growing stable of challengers, Olympia weekend 2014 should become an even bigger spectacle as these champions look to defend their respective titles.

Beyond the competitions going on a two day expo was being held where attendees got a chance to load up on the newest protein products, mass builders, fitness products, fitness pills etc.

Many fitness celebrities/UFC athletes were also on hand greeting people and handing out giveways.   BJ Penn showing BodyKore some love.

The beautiful ladies of MP were on hand!

The Mr Olympia show and festivities never fail to excite everyone that takes part in the Olympia weekend.

There were also many other competitions that took place as well such as strongman, crossfit, arm wrestling just to name a few!

Please enjoy pictures from the event and we hope to see you all next year!
